Well, I know that Lego designers sneak their initials and other references into licence plates all the time, so I figure that 54MJ is something like that. I also googled “ Michael Jackson 54 ” to see if anything popped up, and found that MJ used to go to something called Studio 54. Not sure why that’d be in a Lego set, though.
